School Meals, Payment Guidance & Free School Meals

Consortium Trust has a clear ‘no debt’ procedure relating to the school meal service. If debts are incurred, then the school budget has to pay for them. This means that money which should be spent on the children’s education is used to pay for debts incurred by parents. It is not supportive of our parents to allow them to incur large debts.
We hope that by implementing this debt procedure we are able to help parents manage school dinner money better and at the same time ensure that all money that is for children’s learning is available.
Your child(ren) may also be entitled to receive Free School Meals if you are in receipt of certain benefits; the application is quick and easy to do online, or via a paper application, through your Local Authority. Please find the links to the Free School Meal applications with Suffolk and Norfolk County Councils below.
Regardless of whether you are entitled to receive Free School Meals, or not; if you are having financial problems, please speak to your school's Office Manager, as help is available.
